Coolmic stream from your android!

I was looking for a solution for our DJs to stream from their mobile devices, after some search, I found 2 candidates, Broadcastmyself which costs 2,99 $  and CoolMic, which is available as opensource android client. So after downloading CoolMic and filling out the required field, same as in Butt – Broadcast tool, successfully stream from android 7.0 to azuracast.

Cool Mic is an open source Icecast source client. It livestreams audio captured by your Android device’s microphone or mic in / line in jack. It can stream to any Icecast server in the open-source audio formats Ogg/Opus and Ogg/Vorbis. It has many features:

  • Streams live audio from microphone or mic/line jack to any Icecast 2.x server
  • Configurable metadata (Title, Artist) sent to Icecast
  • Easy sharing of your unique livestream URL

P.S. If you having problems to connect i recomment installing NoRoot Firewall and explicitly give Cool Mic permissions to use port 8005
